TruCytes™ CD34+ Stem Cell Gating Control
TruCytes™ CD34+ Stem Cell Gating Control is a lyophilized cell mimic control designed for reliable performance checks and normalization controls in immunophenotyping and flow cytometry workflows. This product features CD34, CD45 and DNA‑based viability biomarkers with scatter characteristics that closely resemble human lymphocyte populations. It provides a high density CD34+ population with frequencies comparable to biological samples such as cord blood, bone marrow and mobilized peripheral blood cells (~90% CD34+, as a percentage of CD45+ cells), enabling confident population discrimination and gating.
The control is intended to provide positive signal detection for CD45 and both positive and negative signal detection for CD34 and viability. It supports robust gating strategies for CD34 enumeration and viability assessment and serves as a dependable tool for antibody qualification and staining verification. The kit comprises three lymphocyte‑mimic populations designed for clear transferable gates: CD45+ cells, CD45+/CD34+ cells and CD45+ cells with a viability readout. This well‑defined population structure supports accurate gating, viability discrimination and instrument verification across daily QC, assay validation and longitudinal performance monitoring. The lyophilized format ensures consistent reconstitution and extended shelf life, making the control suitable for multi‑site standardization and long‑term assay harmonization across diverse cytometry platforms.
